David Morris, Head Game Keeper at Hopton Shoot for more than 20 years is now planning his fourth season as Shoot Captain at Hopton with his successful business David Morris Sporting.

David’s wealth of knowledge and experience, along with that of the game keeping team ensure an excellent quality of shooting and hospitality.

We have available over two thousand acres of beautifully presented parkland, woodland and lakes that enable us to provide an interesting and challenging range of truly sporting drives to suit all tastes and levels of ability.

We pride ourselves on a friendly relaxed atmosphere and aim to be versatile and proactive in dealing with the needs of our guns. We have on offer days ranging from two hundred to five hundred birds and can offer shooting on a single gun, syndicate or corporate package basis.

After 23 years in game keeping Dave is enjoying the new challenge of hosting excellent shoot days and running his own business.

Director & Office Manager

Helen, Dave's wife and Mother to their children, has been running Hopton Simulated Game since 2014 and is behind the scenes in the office organising shoot days.

After completing his apprenticeship at Hopton Chris has spent the last 7 years as Head Keeper at Bitterely Shoot. We are pleased to have him back bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience which has allowed us to rear our own pheasants this year.
