Our Charity Support - Giving Back
Supporting our local community is important to us at David Morris Sporting. Over the years, our shoot days and the generosity of our guns have helped to raise money for a number of charities and community organisations.
One charity particularly close to us is Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
As a rural shooting business, much of our time is spent out in the countryside and across farmland, often some distance from road access. We know how important a rapid emergency response could be if someone were ever seriously injured or taken ill.
Throughout our simulated and driven game seasons, our guns good-naturedly contribute to our charity pot through donations and a variety of shoot “fines”, with individual teams sometimes inventing a few of their own along the way.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity – September 2026
We were delighted to send £1,615 to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, raised by our guns over the previous 16 months.
On our simulated game days, anyone hitting one of our exploding clays receives a £10 charity ‘fine’, while on our driven game days donations and light-hearted fines help to keep the collection growing. Some teams have also come up with their own ways of raising a little extra during their day.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity provides a particularly important service to rural communities like ours. Its crews can bring specialist hospital-level care directly to patients at the scene of serious accidents and medical emergencies, including in remote locations where reaching a patient by road may take longer.
The charity receives no Government or NHS funding for its daily missions, relying on the generosity of local people, businesses and communities to support its lifesaving service.
A huge thank you to all of our guns who have contributed to the collection over the past 16 months. Whether through a donation, an exploding clay or one of the more imaginative fines dreamt up during a shoot day, every contribution has helped us reach this fantastic total.

Supporting Clee Hill Rugby Club - July 2026
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community organisations, David Morris Sporting was pleased to donate a simulated game shooting day for two guns during our 2027 season to the Clee Hill Rugby Club Promise Auction.
The auction took place during the club's annual Speed Shear event on 11th July 2026, where our donated guns raised £500. The event itself was a tremendous success, raising over £14,000 towards the construction of the club's new clubhouse.
Clee Hill Rugby Club plays a vital role in our local community, providing sporting opportunities for children and adults, with thriving girls' and boys' teams that encourage fitness, teamwork, confidence and wellbeing.
We are proud to support an organisation that has such a positive impact on so many local families and wish the club every success as it develops its new facilities.
Charity Clay Shoot - April 2026
We hosted a charity clay shoot where £2000 was raised by the Hall family for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
